The debut album features prominent rock and blues guitar player Johnny A. on the title track.<br /><br /> There are currently negotiations in progress to feature other well known national recording artists on the new album. The band is curently working with producer Hirsh Gardener. <br /><br />Date of release is yet to be announced but it will be before summer 2012.<br /><br />The Brooks Young Band is a rock, pop, blues band from Concord, NH that has performed with national recording artists BB King, James Cotton, James Montgomery, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, J. Geils of the J. Geils Band, Huey Lewis and the News, Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, Barry Goudreau of Boston, Brad Whitford of Aerosmith and Michael Carabello of Santana. <br /><br />The Brooks Young Band is known for their well-crafted rock, pop songs, their high energy live performances and their commitment to the discipline of creating, recording and performing quality music. Songs by the Brooks Young Band have been featured on radio stations such as The River, 92.5 (Boston), and WHEB, 100.3 (Portsmouth). Here are some of the things that have been going on recently... We have added guitarist Mark Bradford to our line-up. Mark brings another level of exceptional talent to the band & the transition of bringing Mark up to speed w/our material has been seamless. Brooks Young Band have recently joined forces with "Why Don't You Productions" to assist us with bookings & Artist promotions/development. Brooks Young Band are very excited for the release of our latest E.P. "Back on the Ground" which will be available for purchase thru I-TUNES & other retail stores in the area. <br />In September we began filming the opening segments for a video of the title track "Back on the Ground" Although it was a very cold day in downtown Boston we had a blast and got some incredible footage as well. Finally... we would like to invite all of our family, friends & fans to check out all the features of our newly redesigned website.
